Bloom’s goal was to organise educational objectives according to the level of cognitive complexity and thought required (O’Donnell, Reeve & Smith, 2012). This graphic organiser supports Bloom’s idea of educational organisation because of the way the Camper questions are ordered.
It enables students to cognitively process and make sense of information in an organisational manner.
This tool then enables and set students up for success in their critical questioning abilities.

Links to the Curriculum
To provide an explicit exemplar for using Camper’s critical questioning tool, this tool has been “applied within a health topic” (Pohl, 2000, p. 34).
However the Camper questioning tool may be applied to a range of curriculum areas to prompt and develop critical thinking.
Outside of the Classroom
If students apply this tool to their everyday lives it will enable them to critically look at situations. Students will need explicit teaching around the questing prompts presents in the Campers graphic organiser if they will be able to apply this beyond a curriculum context.
